Admission Process In DAV Public School Kotdwar
1. DAV admits all students a respective of nationality, color, gender, religion, cast, creed or ability levels as long as they fulfill all other admission criteria.
2. Registration does not guarantee admission to the school, it only ensure that a candidate may appear for the entrance exam.
3. Admissions to nursery, LKG & UKG are based only on observation session of candidates and interviews with parents.
4. Admission to classes 1st to 8th consists two steps, the written exam in English & Maths is the first step. Only those candidates who qualify the written exam will appear in personal interview. Admission will be based on combine performance in written & interview.
5. Admissions in class 9th are based on written exam in English, Maths and Science and the personal interview.
6. Admissions in class 11th are based on Entrance Exam carrying 50% weightage. CBSE grades in class 10th will carry 50% to get admission.
7. Parents must produce relevant certificates to prove that their child has completed the level of schooling required prior to the class to which admission is sought.
8. After granting of admission parents are expected to complete the required formalities within a week failing in which the seat may be allotted to the next deserving candidate.
