Heritage International Xperiential School (HIXS) offers a comprehensive and progressive curriculum starting from the International Primary Programme (IB PYP) with the Heritage Early Years Programme for Nursery to Grade 4. In Grades 5 to 8, the Lower Cambridge Programme is implemented, followed by the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in Grades 9 and 10, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in Grades 11 and 12. The curriculum is designed to integrate age-appropriate learning with Mastery Strands, which are crafted to complement the best practices from globally accredited boards and provide HIXS graduates with a distinct advantage. The learning experience is further enriched by leadership opportunities and a culture of advisory support throughout a student’s academic journey.

Founded in 2003, Heritage Xperiential Learning School began its journey in Gurgaon. The founders quickly recognized the need for a transformation in traditional education, acknowledging that a system focused on deficits instead of capacities limited children’s potential to be themselves. In response, they eliminated books, uniforms, and traditional exams, instead emphasizing multidisciplinary projects with real-world relevance. Teacher empowerment was central to this transformation, ensuring that educators understood the purpose and significance of what they were teaching.
