Siddhartha Educational Society was established in the year 2002, under the Society Registration Act of 1860 (Regd. No. 1363/2002-2003), with the dynamic leadership of renowned social worker Mr. Durga Prasad Verma, Chairman Siddhartha Educational Society and under the guidance of Justice (Retd.) K. D. Shahi Honorary Dean, Legal Education, Uttarakhand Technical University, and Director Siddhartha Law College, with the vision and mission of promoting quality education in the State of Uttarakhand, by providing technical and professional education. The Society has opened various higher educational institutes granting education in the field of Law, Pharmacy, Management, Sciences and Research, by the names of Siddhartha Law College (est. 2009), Siddhartha Institute of Pharmacy (est. 2006), Siddhartha Institute of Science and Management (est. 2006) and Institute of Paramedical Sciences (est. 2003-04)* now together now as Siddhartha Group of Institutions Dehradun.
Nevertheless, the promoters of SGI began its journey with a mission to provide world-class education and training that enables students to adapt, excel and succeed in the fast-changing global working environment. SGI Provides excellent education amid the lap of nature in the lush green valley of Dhanda-Khudenawala, near IT Park, Sahastradhara road, Dehradun.
