Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar founded People’s Education Society on 08.07.1945, which was inspired by five great ideals of knowledge, compassion, democracy, equality & justice of Lord Buddha. Dr. Ambedkar Law College is one of the premier Institutions promote higher education in general and legal education in particular among the poor in general and Buddhist, S.C., S.T. & Other Backward Classes in particular. Shri S. L. Khot was the first Principal to be associated with this College.
