About St. Jude’s School

St. Jude’s School was founded in 1994 by Mr.  & Mrs. R.V. Gardner, renowned educationists. The School is from Playgroup to ISC (class XII). The institution is a registered co-educational Anglo-Indian school.

I would like to let all know why we named our school St. Jude’s.

It was the idea of our Founder President, Mr. R.V. Gardner.  Mr. Gardner is a very religious person. Whenever he has had any kind of problems, he has turned to prayers. He never starts or ends his day without saying his prayers – be it for his family, school, teachers, Class IV staff, students, earthquake, storm, friends or his own health.

Over the years, he felt that whenever the prayed through the Novena of St. Jude, his prayers were mostly answered.

St. Jude was a cousin of Jesus Christ and Mary, but by reason of the fearful treason of Judas Iscariot against Jesus, the name of Jude fell in disrepute and because of this, Jesus gave St. Jude the honour of being the ‘Patron Saint of Desperate and Hopeless Cases’

It is due to Mr. Gardner’s unshakeable faith in St. Jude that he decided to firstly name his son ‘Jude’ and then also to name this school in St. Jude’s honour.

Admission Process In St. Jude’s School

Registration forms are available from the school office during the time when the registration is open.

The registration form must be filled as per instructions and submitted to the school office. The birth certificate/transfer certificate of the child must be submitted along with the admission form.

The registration fee is N0T refundable.

After registration, depending on the vacancies available, the child will be asked to appear for a test/interview. After this, the decision regarding admission will be taken.

The decision of selection for admission rests solely with the school Principal or his/her representative.

Registration does not entitle the child for admission automatically. Even after admission is granted, the Principal can, at any time, have a student’s name removed from the school rolls, if in the Principal’s sole discretion, the student has failed to abide by the discipline of the school and his/her presence is detrimental to the interest of other students of the school. The student can also be asked to leave the school if he/she has failed to come up the required academic standard of the school.

The school management is NOT liable for any loss of property, damage/charges on account of injuries, fatal or otherwise, which may be sustained by the student, at any time during this/her stay in the school, in the school bus or while taking part in studies, sports and extra-curricular activities or any other form of activities of the school within or outside the school premises.

The parent will sign an arrangement with the management, which will be in the admission form.
