Kendriya Vidyalaya Uttarkashi is functioning under KVS (HQ) New Delhi (An autonomous organisation of HRD Ministry, Govt. Of india) With These Objectives:- Common Programme Of Education, Pursuit Of Excellence , Experimentation And National Integration, The Team Of The School Is Trying Its Level Best To Achieve These Objective. It Is A 1 Section School From Classes 1 To 5, 2 Sections From 6 To 10 And 4 Sections (2 Sc.,1 Hum,1 Comm) In Class 11 And 12 Each. The KV is working under the able guidance of Shri S.K. Mall, Commissioner KVS , Shri G.K. Srivastava, Addl. Commissioner(Administration), Sh. U.N. Khware Addl. Commissioner(Academics), Dr Shachi Kant, Joint Commissioner(Training), Dr E.Prabhakar Joint Commissioner(Personnel), Dr. V. Vijayalakshmi, Joint Commissioner(Academics), Shri M Arumugam, Joint Commissioner(Finance) Of KVS (HQ). Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey, DM Uttarkashi is present chairman of vidyalaya management committee.
