Doon Public Senior Secondary School, located on Nawabi Road, Haldwani, affiliated to CBSE, Delhi is an institution of excellence, dedicated to producing leaders of the future. We are committed to provide high quality education to our students and we achieve this through a challenging curriculum, quality teachers and an atmosphere that encourages communication and cooperation. We aim to inspire the children to question, probe and discover the world around them and realize their rightful place in society. We aim to set new qualitative standards in education by employing innovative approaches; a scientific temperament is nurtured through fully equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Admission Process In Doon Public Senior Secondary
1. To be admitted into Class NUR. A pupil must have completed three years on 1st March of the current year.
2. Admission to different classes in the school is granted purely on merit basis, ascertained through a written test and interview.
3. The name and date of birth of a pupil, as recorded in the Admission Register cannot be changed. Parents are advised to give the correct date of birth of the child, at the time of admission.
4. No pupil from another school will be admitted without a Transfer Certificate. He/She is also required to appear for an Entrance Test. A pupil coming from another state should have his/her Transfer Certificate countersigned by the Inspector of Schools.
5. The school authorities reserve the right to refuse admission without assigning any reason.
6. Application for a Transfer Certificate shall be made in writing to the Principal/Manager by the parent / guardian of the pupil before 31st of March Rs. 200/- will be charged for the issue of a Transfer Certificate. No Transfer Certificate will be issued unless all the dues are settled.
