About Delhi Public School

Delhi Public School Haldwani is a Co-Educational Senior Secondary School located in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, India. It was established in 2018, under the aegis of Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. CBSE Curriculum is being followed at Delhi Public School, Haldwani.

Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi for the past 74 years has been the pioneer leader on the education forefront. Since its inception in 1949, the society has always been true to its motto, ” Service Before Self.” .With a total of 220 schools in India and abroad, it is the largest such institution. Out of the 220 operational schools, 209 of them are franchisee schools, 11 are core schools and 11 schools are established abroad. Admission Process In Delhi Public School Haldwani

Written Aptitude Test

  • There will be no written admission tests for classes Play Group-Class 4th. However, we will invite the child and parents for an informal interaction with the staff and the Principal. The parents will also be intimated through call / SMS.
  • For classes 5th and above admission test will be conducted.
  • The test will comprise of 4 papers- English, Mathematics, Science, and Hindi. Each paper will be of 25 marks.
  • A list of students who have scored above the cut off marks will be displayed on the notice board . The parents will also be intimated through call/ SMS.
  • Post this, an interaction of student and the parents will be scheduled with the principal.
  • The selected candidates shall be required to deposit the fees and documents within the stipulated time.

Requisite Documents

Documents needed at the time of admission:

  • 6 recent passport size photographs of the child.
  • 2 recent passport size photographs of each parent & guardian.
  • Photocopy of Aadhar Card of both parents and the child.
  • Photocopy of previous year’s report card.
  • Birth certificate (original & copy)
  • Transfer Certificate (TC of a child coming from a different state, needs to be counter signed by the education department of that state).
  • Permanent Education Number (PEN)

* From 6th Grade onwards the criteria are also passing the respective class satisfactorily. Transfer Certificate along with Score/ Grade Sheet would be required to substantiate the same.

* Admission to class XI all stream will be based on Report card of Pre-board, Final mark sheet of CBSE Board Examination, Written test and an interaction with faculty.
