About Blooming Vale Public School Kotdwar

In the year 1993, seven like-minded people got together and laid the foundation of Blooming Vale Public School in Kotdwara, a small town in the foot-hills of Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

Having faith in the genuineness of their efforts, piety of their aims & objectives, & the goodliness of the project, the members of the Society started its Blooming Vale Public School with two classes only, that is, Nursery & K.G. Since then, its Principal Mrs. Kumud Chaturvedi and Mr. Subhash C. Chaturvedi, Manager of V.R.Children’s Educational Society, have developed the school to the Secondary Level and have carved a special place for the school among the fraternity of schools of Uttarakhand.

In the year 2002, Blooming Vale Public School was affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. In fact, it has the honour of being the only school in the municipality area of Kotdwara that is affiliated to CBSE, Delhi.

Blooming Vale Public School has the necessary infrastructure, an innovative principal, qualified & trained teachers & a progressive think-bank which has effectively catered to the mental, moral, physical, emotional & aesthetic growth of the students. It has well equipped laboratories for science, computer & mathematics. Its library is stocked with interesting new books every year so that the desire to read may remain kindled in the hearts of the students and teachers. The PET helps the students in making good use of the play-ground as well.

Today there are 885 students getting quality education in Blooming Vale Public School. The efforts of its principal, teachers & students have culminated in achieving 100% result in Secondary School Examinations of CBSE since 2005.

Furthermore, the school takes active part in the cultural & sports activities of Kotdwara. Its students have stood first in many of the inter-school competitions of GK, debate, speech, drawing, folk dance, singing, rangoli, mehandi, march-pass, cricket, hockey, track & field events, & taekwon-do organised from time to time by the Nagar Palika, Sports Stadium, Uttarakhand Taekwon-Do Federation & other NGOs.

The school can proudly say that the graph of its academic and co-curricular activities is on an upward trend & its principal & teachers have succeeded in making its students bloom with the fragrance of knowledge. The school has lived upto its motto – “Upward & Upright”.

Admission Process In Blooming Vale Public School Kotdwar

Admission to students in various classes are given on “first-come-first” basis.
Under Right to Education Act, 2009, 25% of the seats in Class Nursery are reserved for children belonging to “weaker section & disadvantaged class”.
