About Anoop Negi Memorial Public School
Anoop Negi Memorial Public School is 2 km from Rudraprayag town on Srinagar Road, It has green surroundings overlooking Alaknanda River. The school has spacious Class Rooms, Computer Room, Library, Labs, Recreation Room with play grounds, beautiful flowering and ornamental plants and clean drinking water from R.O. Plant.
The school is run by “Pilot Officer Anoop Negi Memorial Society “ which is a registered body under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with registration number 204/2005-06. The Soceity was constituted in 1995 in memory of late Pilot Officer Anoop Negi who laid his life in a MIG-21, practice flight on 14th Feb. 1994 at Bagdogra air field in Assam just 7 months after getting commission in Indian Air Force. The Society was formed by his father who is also the Chairman of the Anoop Negi Memorial Public School. The Society has a school “Anoop Negi Children’s Academy’’ at Dehradun and offers scholarship to meritorious student of Govt. High School Barab district Rudraprayag, the native village of late Anoop Negi.
Admission Process In Anoop Negi Memorial Public School
Admission Procedure:
Registration for admission is done after 15th of March every year. A written test of the child in English, Maths & Science is taken and only students capable of following instructions in English with reasonable intelligence to follow the curriculum are admitted.
Age for Admission :
6 yrs plus for class I and thereafter add one year for subsequent classes.
