Pal College of Nursing & Medical Sciences – a Private enterprise and a unit of a multispecialty Brijlal Hospital & Research Center, was established in 2011.

ANM, GNM ,Basic B.Sc Nursing & M.Sc (N) and NPCC as Post graduate Programs. The college is located at the foothills of Kumaon on the main Nainital Highway with good connectivity and accessibility to all the prime locations of Uttarakhand like Nainital, Almora, Ranikhet etc. Also it touches the hilly regions of Kumaoun, Garhwal Hills, Northern region of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR and Nepal border. It is a gateway of Kumaon culture & tradition.

The Institute is committed to provide all modern physical facilities for learning. The integrated methods of teaching-learning equip students to transfer classroom learning to actual nursing care activities. The academic plan follows an in-built system of education-practice collaborative model, bridging the gap between these entities.

The Degree Courses affiliation is with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical University (HNBUMU). Later we got approval to run M.Sc (N) programs from 2016 onwards. The Diploma Programs are under the auspices of Uttarakhand State Nursing Council.

For giving more specification the college has affiliation with the Govt. Hospitals namely, Sushila Tiwari, Hospital, Haldwani, Soban Singh Jeena Base Hospital, Haldwani, Government Female Hospital, Haldwani pertinent Private Agencies and adopted Community Areas facilitates excellent clinical learning materials. All Programs are recognized and regulated by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi. The students are admitted here through entrance examinations, general physical & mental health fitness tests and counseling, thus ensuring entry quality.
