K K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, an autonomous Institute from Academic Year 2022-2023, is one of the frontrunner institutes imparting quality technical education in the State of Maharashtra. Being in the league of Autonomous Engineering Colleges in Maharashtra, the Institute now can design its curriculum, and academic calendar, conduct examinations and declare results. The final degree is awarded by Savitribai Phule Pune University. The institute is promoting technical education among the rural masses who do not have easy access to higher education The objective of the Institute is to develop engineers who can be a valuable asset for the industry and contribute to the technical and socio-economic development of the country. The institute was established in the year 1984 at Bhausahebnagar (Tal. Niphad, Dist. Nashik) and later shifted to Nashik City in September 1986. A land of 8.2 hectares was handed over on a long-term lease by Shri. Kakusheth Udesi of Hirabai Haridas Charitable Trust, Mumbai.
