Dr. Patangrao Kadam, the founder of Bharati Vidyapeeth, established Poona College of Pharmacy in 1981 after realizing the need to train students in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Poona College of Pharmacy is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). It is one of the pioneering colleges in the field of Pharmacy education and research in the state of Maharashtra.
